pump.fun fees, calculated
The full stacked cost of a pump.fun trade on every app, from pump.fun's own Fees page. Pick a venue, a stage and a size.
A pump.fun bonding-curve buy in the pump.fun app costs 1.70% (1.65% with any referral code): 1.25% in pool fees plus the 0.45% Platform Fee added on 17 October 2026. After graduation the PumpSwap pool fee falls from 1.25% to 0.30% as market cap grows. Other apps skip the Platform Fee but add their own fee, often 1%.
Fee calculator
Fees are a percent of the trade's value. Pool fees are the same on every app; the Platform Fee applies only in pump.fun's own app; everything else is the app's own fee.
What a trade costs on each app
Worked example 1: a $100 buy on the bonding curve (a coin that hasn't graduated). The pool fee is the same 1.25% everywhere; only the app layer changes. Sorted cheapest first.

Jupiter Ultra shown at its new-token rate (0.5%, tokens under 24 hours old), which covers most bonding-curve coins. fomo charges a flat $0.95 on Solana orders of $47.50–190, which is 0.95% at $100 (2% from $5 to $47.50; 0.50% from $190). Axiom's volume cashback can lower its 1% further. Priority fees and tips are extra everywhere.
So the pump.fun app is the cheapest place to trade a curve coin that charges an app fee at all: its 0.45% Platform Fee undercuts the 1% that Axiom, GMGN and the Telegram bots charge. Only Jupiter's Manual mode, which adds nothing but also gives no MEV protection, is cheaper.
Worked example 2: a $1,000 buy of a graduated SOL coin at 5,000 SOL market cap. That sits in the 4,420–9,820 SOL tier, where the pool charges 1.00% (0.75% of it to the creator).

The three layers of fees
Every pump.fun trade stacks up to three kinds of fee. Mixing them up is why most fee pages online disagree.
- Pool fees are charged by pump.fun's on-chain programs on every trade, whichever app sends it. They split three ways: the creator fee (to whoever launched the coin, or to its holders on a Holder Rewards coin), the protocol fee (to pump.fun) and the LP fee (left in the pool as liquidity). Every fee is collected in the pool's quote asset, such as SOL or USDC, never in the coin you trade.
- The Platform Fee is pump.fun's app fee: 0.45% of each trade placed in the pump.fun web app or mobile app since 2026-10-17, or 0.40% if your wallet has a referral code applied. It also applies to the creator's first buy and to limit orders when they execute. It is not charged on Terminal, third-party apps or perps (how the Platform Fee works).
- App (venue) fees are what third-party terminals, bots and wallets add on top: 1% on Axiom, GMGN and most Telegram bots, 0.50% on fomo, 0.85% in Phantom, 0–0.5% on Jupiter. These are set by each app, not by pump.fun; we list only rates the app publishes.
Solana network costs (base fee, priority fee, Jito tips, token-account rent) and price impact come on top of all three.
Bonding curve fees
Before a coin graduates it trades on its bonding curve, a pricing formula where each buy raises the price (how the bonding curve works). Every curve trade, buy or sell, on a SOL- or USDC-paired coin pays:
| Stage | Creator | Protocol | LP | Total |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Bonding curve | 0.30% | 0.95% | 0.00% | 1.25% |
In the pump.fun app the stack is 1.70% per side (1.65% with a code), so buying and selling the same amount costs about 3.40% (3.30% with a code). Creating a coin has no platform fee; graduation costs a fixed 0.015 SOL, which comes out of the curve for SOL-paired coins rather than from a trader.
What changes at graduation
When a coin graduates it moves to its own canonical pool on PumpSwap, pump.fun's exchange (what graduation is). The fee you pay barely moves. Who gets it changes completely:
On the curve
- Creator
- 0.30%
- Protocol
- 0.95%
- LP
- 0.00%
PumpSwap, under 420 SOL
- Creator
- 0.30%
- Protocol
- 0.93%
- LP
- 0.02%
PumpSwap, 420–1,470 SOL
- Creator
- 0.95%
- Protocol
- 0.05%
- LP
- 0.20%
The first PumpSwap tier keeps the curve's split almost exactly. Once a coin's market cap reaches 420 SOL (price in SOL × 1 billion; 59,000 USDC for USDC coins), the creator fee more than triples, from 0.30% to 0.95%. pump.fun's protocol fee drops from 0.93% to 0.05%, and the LP fee rises from 0.02% to 0.20%. A trader's total falls only from 1.25% to 1.20%.
In money: on $1 million of trading at that tier, the creator receives $9,500 instead of the $3,000 it gets in the first tier, and pump.fun $500 instead of $9,300. Above that, the creator's share steps down tier by tier while protocol and LP stay fixed, until a coin worth 98,240 SOL or more pays 0.30% in total, 0.05% of it to the creator. That is why creators of mid-sized graduated coins earn far more per trade than creators of coins still on the curve (how creator fees work).
PumpSwap ladder: SOL coins
The canonical pool's fee depends on the coin's market cap in SOL, defined by pump.fun as the current price in SOL × 1 billion tokens. All 25 tiers, exactly as the Fees page lists them (the highlighted row is where the creator fee peaks):

USDC-paired coins (launched since May 2026) use the same shape with USDC market-cap bands: 1.25% below 59,000 USDC, down to 0.30% at 20 million USDC and above. pump.fun lists 31 rows, several with identical rates; we reproduce them as published.

Other pools and coin types
- Non-canonical PumpSwap pools (any pool other than the coin's own): 0.00% creator, 0.05% protocol, 0.25% LP = 0.30% flat.
- Custom-pair coins (paired with anything other than SOL or USDC, such as a tokenized stock or another pump.fun coin) pay a flat 1.25% on the curve and 0.30% (0.05% creator) in the canonical pool, whatever the market cap.
- Holder Rewards coins send the creator fee to holders instead. On SOL and USDC coins the rate is the normal tiered creator fee. On custom-pair coins the creator picks one flat rate at launch, from 0.01% up to 3% (the current maximum), which then applies on both the curve and PumpSwap. Holders need at least $20 to qualify (how holder rewards work).
- Cashback coins are closed to new launches. On existing ones the creator fee is credited back to the buyer only when the app submits the trade with cashback instructions.
- Multi-hop trades. A coin paired with another pump.fun coin can route through two or more pools. In the pump.fun app, mobile app and Terminal the protocol fee is charged once and the creator and LP fees once. Apps that haven't adopted pump.fun's current program "may charge Protocol, Creator and LP fees on every pool in the route", so the total can be a multiple of the rates above.
EVM chains and perps
- EVM chains (including Robinhood Chain): pump.fun takes 0.10–0.15% of each transaction, on top of the Platform Fee and the bridge or swap provider's fees. pump.fun pays the gas.
- Perps (Hyperliquid perpetuals inside the app): a builder fee of up to 0.05% of each order's notional value, plus up to 0.25% on each bridge transfer to or from Hyperliquid. Hyperliquid's own trading, funding and activation fees are extra. No Platform Fee applies. Perps are not offered in the US, Ontario or the UK. The builder-fee cap was 0.10% in mid-October (see the change log).
What these numbers leave out
The calculator covers fees only. Your real cost also includes:
- Price impact and slippage. On a thin bonding curve a large buy can move the price far more than any fee.
- Solana network costs: the base fee, any priority fee or Jito tip you set (often the biggest cost on a small trade in a busy terminal) and about 0.002 SOL of rent for a new token account, refundable when you close it.
- App rebates. Axiom, Trojan, Maestro and BONKbot pay volume-based cashback that lowers the net fee; we show the posted rate.
Fees are the smallest risk in memecoin trading. Most pump.fun coins lose most of their value, and many are abandoned or rugged soon after launch. Never trade money you can't afford to lose.
pump.fun can change these fees by updating its Fees page. We re-check it and log every change, with the date and source, on the fee change log. PumpFYI is independent and not affiliated with pump.fun.
Questions people ask
How much are pump.fun fees?
On the bonding curve every trade pays 1.25% (0.30% creator, 0.95% protocol). After graduation the PumpSwap canonical pool charges 1.25% down to 0.30% by market cap. Trades in the pump.fun web or mobile app add a 0.45% Platform Fee, or 0.40% with a referral code (Fees page, last updated 17 October 2026).
Does a pump.fun referral code lower my fees?
Yes, by 0.05 percentage points: the Platform Fee drops from 0.45% to 0.40% on app and web trades. Every valid code gives the same 0.40%; the code only decides which referrer is paid. It does nothing on Terminal, Axiom, GMGN, bots or Jupiter.
Is it cheaper to buy pump.fun coins on Axiom or GMGN?
Not on fees. Axiom and GMGN charge 1% (Axiom 0.9% for referred users) on top of the same pool fees, against the app’s 0.45%. A $100 bonding-curve buy costs about $2.25 on GMGN and $1.70 in the pump.fun app, before priority fees.
Does Terminal charge the pump.fun Platform Fee?
No. The Fees page says the Platform Fee is not charged on trades placed through Terminal (formerly Padre) or any third-party interface. Terminal’s own interface fee is not published on an official page, so check its confirmation screen.
What are PumpSwap fees?
A graduated coin’s canonical PumpSwap pool charges 1.25% below 420 SOL market cap, 1.20% from 420 SOL, then steps down to 0.30% at 98,240 SOL and above (USDC coins: 59,000 USDC to 20M USDC). Any other PumpSwap pool charges a flat 0.30%.
Can I avoid the pump.fun fee by buying through Jupiter or Phantom?
You avoid only the 0.45% Platform Fee; the 1.25% curve fee or the PumpSwap fee still applies. Jupiter’s default Ultra mode adds 0.5% on tokens under 24 hours old, its Manual mode adds nothing, and Phantom adds 0.85%.
Does it cost anything to create a coin on pump.fun?
There is no platform fee to create a coin, only Solana network fees and rent. Graduation costs 0.015 SOL, deducted from the bonding curve for SOL-paired coins. In the app, the creator’s first buy pays the Platform Fee like any other trade.
