pump.fun fee and program changes
Every change to pump.fun's fees and fee programs, dated from archived copies of its own pages. Newest first.
pump.fun's biggest recent fee change came on 17 October 2026: trades in its app now pay a 0.45% Platform Fee (0.40% with a referral code). On 1 November 2026 the referrer's share fell from all of that fee during a 4× launch boost to 37.5%. Between 19 and 31 October the perps builder-fee cap fell from 0.10% to 0.05%.

Deposit-match terms updated
The Referral Rewards (deposit match) terms were reported updated on 3 November 2026, with US$50 as the US cap on each side’s reward. No archived copy of this version exists yet. The newest archived version (dated 7 October 2026) matches a new user’s first fiat deposit up to US$50 for both sides, paid over five trading days within ten. It is open to natural persons only, through the mobile app, and excludes the UK. We do not promote this program: its terms ban posting codes on websites.

4× referral boost ends; referrers now get 37.5% of the Platform Fee
pump.fun ended the "limited-time 4x referral boost". Referrers now earn "1.5x rewards, meaning 37.5% of the fees their referrals pay", which is 0.15% of a referred user’s app volume at the 0.40% rate. pump.fun says the other 62.5% goes to the Callout Rewards pot and in-app incentives. Referred users still pay 0.40%. The terms let pump.fun change this share at any time, down to zero.

Perps builder-fee cap cut from 0.10% to 0.05%
The Fees page’s perps section said "a builder fee of up to 0.10%" in the 19 October capture and "up to 0.05%" in the 31 October capture. The page’s "Last Updated: 17 October 2026" line did not change, so the date on the page alone would not show it. The 0.25% bridge-transfer cap is unchanged.

Platform Fee: 0.45% on app trades, 0.40% with a referral code
From 17 October 2026 every trade placed in the pump.fun web app or mobile app pays a Platform Fee of 0.45%, or 0.40% from a wallet with a referral code applied. It comes on top of the pool fees and includes the creator’s first buy and executed limit orders. It is not charged on Terminal, third-party apps or perps. The 8 October version still said none of pump.fun’s apps "charge any fees in addition to those above on Solana trades". The same update did three more things. It added Terms §4.9 (referral codes: one per wallet, possibly permanent). It restated the EVM fee as 0.10–0.15% on top of the Platform Fee, where it had read "up to 1%", with US$0.05 per purchase through pump.fun’s bridge. And it added the perps fees (builder up to 0.10%, bridge up to 0.25%).

Fees page becomes part of the Terms; custom pairs, holder rewards and multi-hop rules
The 8 October rewrite made the Fees page part of the Terms of Use. It added the flat custom-pair schedule (1.25% curve, 0.30% PumpSwap) and the Holder Rewards rules (US$20 minimum holding, flat 0.01–3% for custom pairs). It also added the multi-hop rule (some apps may charge every pool in a route) and an EVM fee section. It states that Cashback mode is "no longer available for new launches". Graduation is restated as 0.015 SOL for every coin.

How we date changes
pump.fun's site blocks automated reads, and its pages carry a "Last Updated" line that doesn't always move when the text does. The perps fee cut in late October is an example. So we date changes from the Internet Archive: its CDX index lists every capture of pump.fun/docs/fees (63 captures from January 2025 to 31 October 2026). We compare the fee text of the captures on either side of each change. A change is dated by the page's own "Last Updated" line when it has one, and otherwise by the two captures that bracket it.
Program changes announced on X (referral shares, boosts) are dated by the post. If we can't see a change in any archived copy, we mark it "reported". See our methodology for how we source and correct pages. PumpFYI is independent and not affiliated with pump.fun.
Questions people ask
When did pump.fun add the 0.45% fee?
The Platform Fee started on 17 October 2026. It applies only to trades placed in the pump.fun web app or mobile app: 0.45%, or 0.40% with a referral code. Before 8 October 2026 the Fees page said pump.fun’s own apps charged nothing beyond the pool fees on Solana.
Is the pump.fun 4x referral boost still running?
No. pump.fun said on 1 November 2026 that the limited-time 4x boost had ended and that referrers now earn 37.5% of the Platform Fee their referrals pay. Pages still advertising the 4x boost or "100% of fees" are out of date.
When did pump.fun start paying creator fees?
Creator fees apply to every coin on the bonding curve or PumpSwap from 13 May 2025. They started at 0.05% of each trade; since 1 September 2025 creators get 0.30% on the curve and up to 0.95% in PumpSwap, depending on market cap.
Did pump.fun fees go up or down in 2025?
Both. On 1 September 2025 the bonding-curve fee rose from 1% to 1.25%, while graduated coins moved to a ladder that falls to 0.30% for the largest coins. Smaller graduated coins pay up to 1.25%, more than the old flat 0.30%.
