Lookalike apps

An App Store search for "pump.fun" on 4 November 2026 also returned apps from other developers. The real app's publisher is Maius Imperium Limited (iOS) or "pump.fun" (Google Play), ID com.batonresearch.pump. Source

  1. Find the address part, just before the first single slash. It must end in pump.fun (or be trade.padre.gg for Terminal).
  2. Extra words before it (pump-fun-airdrop…) or a hosting suffix after it (.pages.dev, .web.app) mean it isn't pump.fun.
  3. If a page asks you to sign something to "claim", "verify" or "accept new terms", stop. A normal trade shows a swap.
  4. For coins, compare the contract address, not the name: check a coin and how to spot a rug.
