The iOS bundle and Android package both use the ID com.batonresearch.pump. Baton Corporation Ltd. is the company that develops and operates pump.fun under its terms, so the “batonresearch” name is consistent with the real app. We link both listings from our official links page.

How to tell the real app from lookalikes

Search results for “pump” include apps from other developers, such as sniper bots and signal apps. Before installing:

  • the publisher must be Maius Imperium Limited (iOS) or “pump.fun” (Google Play);
  • the ID must match the table above;
  • it should have years of history and thousands of ratings.

Don’t install from links in DMs or ads. The safest path is the store link on pump.fun itself or our official links.

What the app does

The listing describes it as a way to “discover trends” and “follow top callers”. In practice it covers the same ground as the website: browse and search coins, buy and sell, limit orders, a portfolio, deposits and withdrawals. Wallet services come from Privy.io, and the listing states pump.fun “cannot access or freeze your funds”.

Some things are app-first:

  • Card, Apple Pay and Google Pay purchases through a third-party provider (funding guide);
  • Trading competitions, which you join through the app (Competition Terms §3);
  • Perps, leveraged futures routed to Hyperliquid, not available in the US or Ontario (country guide);
  • EVM-chain coins such as Robinhood Chain coins, held in a separate EVM wallet.

What trading in the app costs

The app pays the same fees as pump.fun’s website (Fees page, 17 October 2026):

  • Platform Fee: 0.45% per trade, or 0.40% with a referral code. Every valid code gives the same rate.
  • Pool fees: 1.25% on the bonding curve; on PumpSwap from 1.25% down to 0.30% by market cap.
  • So a bonding-curve buy costs 1.70%, and the sell the same again.

DefiLlama tracked $1.885M in app fees on $420.5M of app volume over the 30 days to 4 November 2026. Wallets and terminals that route to the same coins skip the Platform Fee but charge their own; compare them on where to trade and with the fee calculator.

The app’s own disclaimer

The store listing says: “Memecoins are not assets and do not possess any intrinsic value and do not have any utility.” pump.fun’s terms add that it does not recommend buying any coin. Take both at their word, and check any coin before you buy.
