Short answer

From 17 October 2026, every trade placed through the pump.fun web app or mobile app carries a Platform Fee of 0.45%, or 0.40% from a wallet that has applied a referral code. It comes on top of the existing 1.25% bonding-curve fee, and it is not charged on Terminal, third-party apps or perps.

Primary source Fees

What changed

Until the Fees page update of 17 October, pump.fun said that none of its front ends (the web app, pump.fun/advanced and the mobile app) charged anything on Solana trades beyond the protocol, creator and LP fees. The new page adds a Platform Fee section:

WhoPlatform Fee per trade
Wallet with no referral code applied0.45%
Wallet that has applied another user’s referral code0.40%

The fee covers buys and sells, the first purchase made when you create a coin, and limit or other conditional orders when they execute (at the rate in force when you placed them). It is taken in SOL or USDC from what you spend or receive, and shown as its own line before you confirm.

What it does not apply to

The Fees page says the Platform Fee “is not charged on trades placed through Terminal or any third-party interface,” and it does not apply to perps. Other apps and bots that trade the same coins charge their own fees instead; see where to trade pump.fun coins.

What a trade costs now

On a coin still on its bonding curve, the curve fee is 1.25% (0.30% creator, 0.95% protocol). A $100 buy in the app now costs about $1.70 in pump.fun fees, or $1.65 with a referral code, before network fees. Any valid code gives the same 0.40%; the code only decides which referrer is paid. Work out your own trade in the fee calculator and see every change in the fee change log.

Also in the update

The Terms were rewritten the same day, and fee changes no longer need advance notice (our story). The Fees page revision also set the fee on EVM trades (including Robinhood Chain) at 0.10% to 0.15% per transaction, plus the Platform Fee and the bridge or swap provider’s own fees. pump.fun co-founder Alon Cohen said on 16 October that Platform Fee revenue not paid to referrers would go to the Callout Rewards pot, with $300,000 a day as the baseline.
