Short answer

pump.fun ended its limited-time 4x referral boost on 1 November 2026, two weeks after it began on 16 October. Referrers now earn 1.5x rewards, which pump.fun says means 37.5% of the Platform Fee their referred wallets pay; the other 62.5% goes to the Callout Rewards pot and in-app incentives. Referred wallets still pay 0.40% instead of 0.45%.

What happened

pump.fun launched referral rewards on 16 October 2026 with “a limited-time 4x boost” for referrers, and ended it on 1 November: “Referrers will now earn 1.5x rewards, meaning 37.5% of the fees their referrals pay is awarded to them.” By the same arithmetic, the 4x boost paid referrers the whole Platform Fee their referrals paid. pump.fun says it is “continuing to give away 100% of our platform’s revenue,” with the other 62.5% going to the Callout Rewards pot and in-app incentives, and that it has paid “$30,000,000 in reward payouts and counting.”

What it means in money

A referred wallet pays the 0.40% Platform Fee. At 37.5%, the referrer receives 0.15% of the trade: $1.50 on a $1,000 trade, down from about $4.00 during the boost. The fee share applies only to trades in the pump.fun web and mobile apps, not to Terminal, other apps or perps.

What did not change

For the person trading, nothing. Every valid code gives the same 0.40% rate; the code only decides which referrer is paid. Under section 4.9 of the Terms, the share is set by pump.fun, “may differ between Referrers,” and can be cut “including to zero” at any time, also for wallets already referred, so treat 37.5% as today’s rate rather than a promise (what the Terms say). A wallet can hold one code, and pump.fun may treat that link as permanent.

pump.fun also runs a separate deposit-match program with its own terms. It is limited to natural persons and bars posting codes on websites, so PumpFYI does not publish codes for it. Read how pump.fun referral codes work and the fee change log.
