Short answer

PumpFYI runs a free, read-only MCP server at https://pumpfyi.com/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no API key). It has 5 tools: fee_quote, route_cost, coin_check, get_referral_info and search_site. Fee answers follow pump.fun's own Fees page (last updated 17 October 2026) and name it as the source.

Connect

Claude Code:

claude mcp add --transport http pumpfyi https://pumpfyi.com/mcp

Cursor, Windsurf and other clients that take a JSON config:

{
  "mcpServers": {
    "pumpfyi": { "url": "https://pumpfyi.com/mcp" }
  }
}

In Claude or ChatGPT, add it as a custom connector with the URL https://pumpfyi.com/mcp. No sign-in or key is needed.

Tools

ToolArgumentsReturns
fee_quotesurface, stage (curve, pumpswap), market_cap, amount_usd, quote (SOL or USDC), round_trip, new_token, custom_pairThe fee stack for one trade: pump.fun's creator, protocol and LP fees for the coin's stage and market-cap tier, the app's 0.45% or 0.40% Platform Fee, and the trading app's own fee. Totals with and without a referral link, each line in percent and USD, and optionally the buy-and-sell round trip.
route_coststage, market_cap, amount_usd, quote, referral, new_tokenThe same trade priced on all 15 surfaces we track (pump.fun app, Terminal, Axiom, GMGN, fomo, Photon, Telegram bots, Phantom, Jupiter Ultra and Manual), sorted by total fee. Apps that don't publish a fee are listed separately.
coin_checkmint (Solana address, or a pump.fun or DexScreener link)PumpFYI's coin checker, the same one as on /coin/: a 0–100 risk score and verdict, stage (bonding curve or graduated), mint and freeze authority, holder concentration, liquidity and copycats, each check with its source and the read time.
get_referral_infovenue (default pump-fun, or "all")What a referral link documents for you (pump.fun: 0.40% instead of 0.45%), what the program pays the referrer, the source, and the PumpFYI link.
search_siteq, limitPumpFYI pages for a question: fees, guides, explainers, where to trade, comparisons, data and news.

Every tool returns a readable text answer plus structuredContent with the raw numbers and sources; coin checks include the full checker result and the time of the read (checked_at). All tools are read-only: none can sign, send or trade.

Try it with curl

curl -s https://pumpfyi.com/mcp \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"tools/list"}'
curl -s https://pumpfyi.com/mcp \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":2,"method":"tools/call",
       "params":{"name":"fee_quote","arguments":{"amount_usd":100,"stage":"curve"}}}'

That call returns the fee stack for a $100 bonding-curve buy in the pump.fun app: 1.25% in pool fees plus the 0.45% Platform Fee, 1.70% ($1.70) in total, or 1.65% ($1.65) with a referral code.

Data rules

  • Fee rates come from the same engine as our fee calculator: pump.fun's Fees page and each trading app's own documentation. When a source changes, the calculator and the tools change together; the methodology page explains the math.
  • Fees exclude Solana network fees, priority fees, tips and slippage.
  • Every valid pump.fun referral code gives the same 0.40% Platform Fee. Codes only decide who is paid; none gives a bigger discount.
  • route_cost ranks by total fee only. It never ranks by what a venue pays referrers.
  • Referral links are PumpFYI's own; we earn a share of fees from them (disclosure). That never changes the data.
  • Coin checks flag risks; they never call a coin safe. Most pump.fun coins lose most of their value, and nothing returned is financial advice.
  • pump.fun's terms prohibit the UK and sanctioned countries. The server never suggests ways around that.

We don't use pump.fun's Developer API for any of this. Data is licensed CC BY 4.0.
